About Hopkins High School
Ensuring all scholars graduate with the skills necessary for postsecondary successHopkins Public Schools is an award-winning school district with a long tradition of excellence at every school, for every scholar, every day. Located in the western suburbs of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota, we serve the city of Hopkins, most of Minnetonka, about half of Golden Valley, and portions of Eden Prairie, Edina, Plymouth, and St. Louis Park.
Hopkins High School is nationally recognized for providing opportunities for students to learn and grow. We have richly-diverse 10th through 12th-grade population of over 1,550 scholars with 43 different primary home languages. Our goal is to guide our students to explore their interests and passions through personalized learning, use their voice in all areas of their education, become global scholars, and become innovative and critical thinkers that are ready for postsecondary education, entering the workforce, and beyond. Hopkins High School Students Receive Direct Admission to Minnesota Colleges
Hopkins is one of a few high schools that has a Direct Admission partnership, which guarantees placement to hundreds of participating colleges and universities for Hopkins seniors who are on track to graduate.
