Message from HHS Leadership Team

As we close Term 1, we're incredibly proud of the growth we’ve seen in our students, not only in academics but in who they are becoming as young people. Each day, we see them think critically, challenge assumptions and lean into curiosity as they learn and solve problems. We see them build confidence by taking risks, trying new things and learning from both successes and setbacks. We also witness their empathy in the ways they support one another and work to create spaces where every voice is valued. Most importantly, when we hold high expectations for them, they continue to rise to the challenge and show up as their best selves. Thank you for partnering with us to help our students grow as critical thinkers, empathetic community members, confident learners, and engaged global citizens — the traits of a Hopkins graduate. With shared purpose and optimism, we look forward to continuing this journey into the next term, helping every student grow, thrive, and lead with heart.

With appreciation,

Principal Thao, Principal Farley, Principal Ward, and Dr. Schank

Family Financial Aid Planning Night

This event has been rescheduled to Tuesday, November 11, 2025 from 6-7pm in the square cafeteria addition. Please join us in welcoming Cozy Whitman to talk about the following topics:

  • Admission trends and how colleges admit students and its impact on price

  • ACT/SAT Testing - some require it now, and some don't - what path makes sense?

  • The number of schools on the “more selective” list continues to grow

  • Substantial changes to the FAFSA, Dept of Education, and financial aid may make college more expensive

Join Dr. Kuhl and the counseling office, as we partner with national college expert, Cozy Wittman from College Inside Track, to learn how these changes may impact your family, and new strategies to consider to give your student the best opportunity to be admitted and maximize scholarships and financial aid.
