Hopkins students compete in cyber competition

Hopkins High School Advanced Placement (AP) Computer Science Principles students recently competed in the first-ever Minnesota High School Cyber Competition at the Hennepin Technical College Brooklyn Park campus. The competition brought together teams from across the state to test their skills in programming, cybersecurity, networking, and computer systems management while building camaraderie and connections with peers.

AP Computer Science Principles introduces students to the foundations of computing and offers the opportunity to earn college credit through the AP exam. Events like this highlight the growing and dynamic nature of the computing field and the many pathways available to students as they explore future careers in technology.
