Election Day is Tuesday, November 4, 2025. In Minnesota, you can vote early with an absentee ballot starting September 19, 2025. You can request an absentee ballot online for federal, state, and county elections. To find out where to vote, visit the Office of the Secretary of State to find your polling location on the Minnesota Secretary of State's website.
Absentee voting (early voting) begins on September 19. You can vote early by using an absentee ballot, instead of voting in person at the polling place on Election Day. You can vote absentee by mail, in person, or by having a person you know pick up and deliver your ballot for you. Any voter may vote absentee.
To vote by mail, apply to have an absentee ballot mailed to you. You do not need to be registered to apply. Request an absentee ballot for 2025 elections on the Minnesota Secretary of State website.
All voters have at least one location where they can vote early in person with an absentee ballot. View the list of voting locations before election day. The last day to vote early in person is Nov. 3.
